My Macy cracks me up every day. She is a funny kid. Well at least to me she is. Today she was talking about what she wanted to be for Halloween. Here are some ideas she had...
a rainbow
a lollipop
a silly cow
a baby puppy
a unicorn
Ultimately she decided she would be Minnie Mouse like last year. And who am I to argue. By the 3rd kid it seems I'm trying to find more ways to purchase less and take the easy route on things that may not be that big of a deal.
Speaking of 3 kids. I know some of you have more. However I noticed that I think 3 is when it got busy for me. Looking at the kids growth chart. Easton and Peyton both have measurements taken on or very near to all their birthdays. I thinks it's because I followed the rules and did Dr check ups on time. M however..she has measurements on random dates. Not at all near her birthday. I think that is when I started working more (thanks plummeting real estate market) and life became super crazy. Owell I am pretty proud that I at least have the measurements on the board now...took me awhile.
Speaking of growth boards. Do you know how many houses I show where the previous family had written all their kids measurements on the wall in the kitchen or wherever and you can see where little Johnny was 2 and then he was 18 and all the heights in between. I'm here to say that it's sad to leave that history behind. Sort of breaks my heart each time. So we (as in Jon) has made us a Growth Board. We (as in Jon again..although I did paint and glue the letters on) even made some for friends and family. I love it. If we ever move we can just take it with us, unscrew it from the wall. I recommend it.

Happy Easter!!
I don't know why I was so proud that my kids forgot that the Easter Bunny may show up overnight with baskets of goodies. When I tucked them in tonight I had told them they better hurry or the Easter Bunny may not come. They all acted so excited. Peyton said she forgot about it and Easton said he wasn't sure if we were doing baskets this year and Macy is only 3 so didn't remember either.
Guess it's because we have been so busy preparing for the newlife Gig Harbor gathering this Sunday and talking about Jesus. I love my kids and am so thankful God sent his son to die so that we could live.

Everyone needs some good support
Disclaimer..if you are a male, you may want to skip this post.
I just have to share what I've found..as a runner and a female I'm always in search of the perfect sports bra. I used to have to wear two which is less than desirable. At the Rock & Roll Marathon Expo in Seattle last June I found what is, to date, my favorite sports bra EVER.
Especially those of us that are, well, a little "endowed". It has support, and coverage AND is gives a good anti-uni-boob look.
It's the Vero by Moving Comfort. I used to like the Fiona and still do, however the Vero is my new fave. Check it out here.
It's the best.

Hotel "Kitchen"
Somehow all the Zhu Zhu pets ended up in our kitchen last night. This morning Macy begged me to bring her kitchen downstairs too. After making a hotel for them, she put turned on the fake burners that light up. I asked if she was going to cook the zhu zhu pets...her reply "only the boy ones".
It was actually pretty great having this down here. I got some work done, treadmill time in and the kitchen cleaned. And she is still playing.
Yes she is still in her jammies! We just had lunch too. She loves things my other kids still don't like...hummus, salame, most kinds of soup. She's fun to have around during the day when the others are at school. (by the way, been fighting with blogger, that photo is not sideways on my computer)

hippity-hoppity
Pardon me while I blog more of old pics....I need to catch up on 2010! Peyton loves her hip-hop class, it so fits her personality. She loves to sing and dance. She also is loving her piano lessons. I'm also reminded of a time when she would tell me in all seriousness that strangers would probably mistake her for Miley Cyrus if she wears certain outfits out of the house.
"BIG Tummy!"
I nearly forgot about this until and as I was browsing through pics today, I burst out laughing. Macy has always measure thin and tall for her age at her check ups. However despite her skinny-ness, she has this ability to push her stomach way out. She used to do this when we were changing her diaper (thank goodness no more diapers now!) and she would crack everyone up. Funny girl.

Rockin' it!
Hello out there! It's been awhile since I last blogged, however I was looking through pics and wanted to share! Last summer a few of us ran the Rock and Roll Marathon in Seattle (2010) It was a blast. And super hard!! That was my 3rd full marathon and 2nd time running the Rock & Roll. Yes as you can imagine, each time I run one of these 26.2 mile races...I question my sanity. I question it during the 20 weeks of training, and when I wake up at 4am to travel to the race and especially while running it. Crossing the finish line sure feels good..and a little awful since I could hardly walk. Here's a pic of the group we hung out with. Jon, Melia and I ran the full marathon and the rest, ran the half marathon.
Here's Porta-Potty City...The sea of insane people running for fun :)
About to start..don't we look excited?
The start line...
Making sure our shoes are tied. This is when we become a little OCD about every little thing...are our shoes tied evenly, not too tight, not too loose? Is my ponytail squeezing, did I drink too much water, or not enough, do I have to pee for the 13th time this morning?
Here is a photo taken after the race. Sweet, painful, VICTORY!
